1. General

This website is provided by Learn or Lose GmbH, a company based in Germany that offers a learning platform and learning content. We make this page available to you to inform you about how we handle your personal data collected on the page.

3. Access and activity logs ("server logs")

Every time you access this page, general log data, so-called server logs, is automatically recorded. These data are usually pseudonyms and therefore do not allow any conclusions to be drawn about a natural person.
Without this data, it would not be technically possible to deliver and display the content of the website. In addition, the processing of this data from security aspects, in particular for access, input, transfer and storage control, is imperative. In addition, the anonymous information can be used for statistical purposes as well as for the optimization of the offer and the technology. If an error message occurs, general data such as the domain name of the website, the web browser and web browser version, the operating system, the IP address and the time stamp are recorded when the corresponding error message / specification occurs.

These error logs can be stored for up to 7 days. There is no right to object.

b. LinkedIn

We use the retargeting tool and conversion tracking from LinkedIn Ireland, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland (“LinkedIn”). For this purpose, the LinkedIn Insight Tag is integrated on our website, which enables LinkedIn to collect statistical, pseudonymous data about your visit and use of our website and to provide us with appropriate aggregated statistics on this basis. The following information is usually recorded:

  • LinkedIn user ID (cookie ID)

  • IP address

  • Metadata of the website visit, such as browser type, website visited

In addition, this information is used to be able to show you offers and recommendations that are of interest and relevance after you have informed yourself about certain services, information and offers on the website. The relevant information is stored in a cookie.

 

7. Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we save your email address and use it to send the newsletter. Your email address will not be published or passed on to third parties.

  • Purpose: Sending the requested newsletter.

  • Storage period: The data is generally stored only for as long as is necessary to achieve the purpose. The data for the newsletter will be stored for as long as it is intended to send a newsletter and you have not objected to the use of your data.

  • Legal basis: Art. 6 I a GDPR - consent

  • Withdrawal: You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using a link included in every issue. We will then delete your email address from our mailing list. Alternatively, you can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by email to ulli@learnorlose.com.

 

8. Web demo

If you request an appointment for a web demo, then we use your data to contact you and to coordinate and arrange an appointment with you.

  • Data collected: email address, last name, first name, telephone number, (company)

  • Purpose: coordination and implementation of the requested web demo as well as preparation and follow-up of the web demo.

  • Storage period: The data is generally stored only for as long as is necessary to achieve the purpose. The data is stored for as long as is necessary to prepare, follow up and carry out the appointment.

  • Legal basis: Art. 6 I b GDPR

 

9. Data subject rights

If personal data is processed by Personio GmbH as the responsible body, you, as the data subject, have certain rights, depending on the legal basis and purpose of the processing, from Chapter III GDPR, in particular, where appropriate, the right to information (Article 15 GDPR) , Right to correction (Article 16 GDPR), right to deletion (Article 17 GDPR), right to restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR), right to data portability (Article 20 GDPR) , Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR). If the processing of personal data is based on your consent, you have the right to revoke this data protection consent in accordance with Art. 7 III GDPR.

Please note that to assert your rights as a processor of our customers, you have to contact the responsible body directly. We reserve the right not to answer corresponding inquiries or to pass them on to the corresponding company.

 

10. Right to complain

We would like to point out that you have the right to complain to the supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR if you believe that your personal data is not being processed lawfully by us.

Learn or Lose reserves the right to adapt this data protection declaration at any time so that it always corresponds to the current legal requirements or to implement changes to the services in the data protection declaration, for example when introducing new services or changes to the website.
